Familiar Problems and Challenges...
As a property developer or contractor you're almost certainly familiar with the problems associated with dealing with the utilities companies. Problems associated with unreliability, co-ordinating multiple contractors, quality/workmanship issues, delays with meter fitting, are prevalent on almost all sites.
As you're no-doubt aware these have a detrimental impact upon production, leading to unnecessary added pressure, hassle, and additional costs when your programme starts to slide.
Here's how we'll make you're life (virtually) hassle-free...
The good news is that the problems you almost always experience with dealing with utilities can be avoided.
The PDI method allows you to completely focus on what you do best i.e. develop property. You will be free of the burden of managing and co-ordinating utilities, as we provide you with a one-stop-shop solution.
Our in-house experts will efficiently plan and co-ordinate the design process from start to finish, allowing you to benefit from our wealth of experience in dealing with these matters.
However the real benefits are experienced on site. You will be free of the usual headaches and hassles associated with managing four or five different utilities contractors, as PDI takes the place of them all. This means that you get to deal with one single company instead of the usual four or five, and you'll also benefit from having a dedicated PDI supervisor on your project who'll be your sole point of contact throughout the duration of the work.
I'm sure you'll agree that this in itself would offer you a clear advantage. Just think of the numerous meetings and telephone calls you can avoid!
Now, we must emphasise that we aren't a project management company. We're utilties specialists, and our core business is site installation. All physical site works are carried out by our own direct labour teams. These teams are industry experienced and multi-disciplined in all installation activities. We don't sub-contract works to others.
Aside from the above, further advantages of working with PDI utilities are:
1. Less congestion on site.
2. Minimum site disturbance.
3. Single excavations where possible for all utilities, therefore avoiding repeated excavations.
4. Assurance that our Supervisor has awareness of all aspects relating to the utilities supplies for the site.
Furthermore, a key point to consider is of course reliability. PDI are independent of any other utility company and energy supplier. We are privately owned, and therefore our success depends only upon maintaining strong relationships with our Customers by performing in all areas to standards that you'll find are better than you've experienced before.
